Welcome

Geeveston Pharmacy is located in the idyllic Huon Valley. Surrounded by world heritage forests, local thriving communities, unique horticultural industries and unique food experiences.

About 50 minutes south of Hobart, Geeveston is the home of the world-famous sushi chef Masaaki, the famous treetop walkway the Tahune Airwalk, Hartz Mountain National Park and the world’s second tallest tree, Centurion.

The community of Geeveston is perhaps one of the friendliest, most welcoming communities the traveller will experience. With such a beautiful jewel such as Geeveston, how could we be anything else but happy?

Delivery service

At Geeveston Pharmacy we like to offer the modern conveniences that you would expect in the cities. A free delivery service is one of these services we provide for our community.

You will see the “Health Bug” car in all of its glory travelling all over the Huon Valley, delivering essential medical needs to residents that find it hard to get out and about.

The Health Bug car goes to Cygnet every Tuesday, to Huonville and surrounds on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and to Geeveston every day.

Price matching

We understand that the cost of medications can be too much so we have offered a price matching guarantee. If you find a lower price on prescription medications, we will match it every time.

Medication packs

Life can be hectic at the best of times. Considering the complexity, frequency and importance of taking your prescribed medications, medication packs can help take the stress out of taking your medications.

With a week supplied in a pack, the days of the week and times of the day helps you to take the right medications at the right dose at the right time of day. Not only does it simply your medication regimen, it also takes out the stress of keeping on top of your prescriptions.

This service is provided free for anybody, whether you are taking only one medication or 20. The packing service is free using the highest quality packing system, Webstercare (Webster Pak).

Friendly personal service

We pride ourselves on helping people with all sorts of ailments from common minor problems to the more complex and difficult. The environment in the pharmacy is happy and friendly as we are all focused on making you feel better, even if it is only with a smile.

As we are all locals, we get to know you and your families, tailoring your needs and expectations rather than in a sterile big supermarket approach.

Employing locals

With the huge support of the local community, we employ many local people who have families of their own living in the Huon Valley and Southern Tasmania. Where possible we utilise the services and products of local businesses so ensure that we support the local economy.
